The new Covid variant, JN.1, has raised concerns after multiple cases were detected in India. The World Health Organization (WHO) has labeled JN.1 a "variant of interest.” At this time, the most important thing is to keep your immunity in check. Only if you are strong and consuming the essential vitamins, will you be able to fight any kind of disease that comes your way.
Vigilance and health measures have become crucial, especially during the time when the temperatures are dipping and a new variant has emerged out of the blue. Keeping your diet in check is very important. Apart from that, here are some essential precautions to consider to keep yourself and your close ones safe.
Make sure you wear a mask in public places. Keep your nose, mouth and chin covered at all times. Don’t take it lightly and make sure that you wear well-fitted masks. Surgical masks or multi-layered fabric masks are always a better pick.
You don’t know what place the other person is coming from. Make sure you practice social distancing. Maintain at least 1 meter distance from others, especially in crowded places. Avoid going to gatherings with large crowds.
It is very important to maintain your respiratory health. Do breathing exercises regularly. This will help in boosting your lung capacity. Not only this but 15-20 minutes of breathing exercises can also boost your immunity.
Wash your hands
Make sure you clean your hands thoroughly. Use a soap or an alcohol-based sanitizer. This needs to be done multiple times in a day.
Ensure that you are regularly cleaning and disinfecting surfaces. This includes frequently touched spaces, door knobs, faucets, remotes, tv screens, and much more.
Improve the ventilation of your indoor space so that you get exposure to the clean and outdoor air.
