Bengaluru: A gruesome murder has sent shockwaves across the Bengaluru city as the body parts of a 26-year-old woman were found stored in a refrigerator. 

The incident took place in the Muneshwara Block, 4th Cross, Pipeline House area under the Vyalikaval police station limits.

Bengaluru Woman Murder Details

According to police reports, the murder happened approximately 10–15 days ago. The victim, who had been renting a house in the area for the past three months, has been identified as Mahalakshmi. 

The house, located in the Muneshwara Block, belongs to a man named Jayaram.

Bengaluru Woman Killed Body Parts Found in Refrigerator

Primary investigations suspect that the woman was murdered by a young man who was known to her. The suspect is believed to have dismembered the victim's body into more than 30 pieces and stored the remains in the refrigerator.

Police Investigation Proceeds

Upon receiving information about the horrific crime, Vyalikaval police officers rushed to the scene to investigate. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central), Shekhar, also visited the location to oversee the investigation.

Bengaluru police authorities are working tirelessly to gather evidence and identify the man behind this heinous crime. The police have urged the public to come forward with any information that could help the investigation.
