BREAKING: Naxalite from Haryana Arrested While Visiting Girlfriend in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A Maoist was arrested from Bengaluru by the Anti-Terrorist Cell (ATC) of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) while he was visiting his girlfriend. The Naxalite has been identified as Anirudh, who hails from Haryana .
Anirudh was arrested from the Upparpet area in Bengaluru. The Maoist, who was reportedly working for banned CPI-Maoist group, had managed to evade law enforcement for an extended period.
His arrest follows a visit to Bengaluru to meet his girlfriend, leading to a tip-off about his whereabouts.
Anirudh is accused of circulating banned writings and Maoist literature, actively promoting the ideologies of the CPI-Maoist movement. Despite operating under the radar for a long time, the authorities closely monitored his movements.
Further, a case has been registered at Upparpet police station. This marks a significant development in the efforts to clamp down on Naxalite activities in the city and the broader region.
