The alliance fielded senior leader Ramesh Khatak from the Kharkhoda segment. Thursday marks to be the last date for filing nominations.

Additionally, as per the list, for Sonipat's Kharkhoda segment, the JJP has fielded candidates from the Karnal, Panipat Urban, Narwana, Uklana, Narnaund, Loharu, Nangal Chaudhary and Badkhal seats.

So far, the two allies have declared candidates on 77 of the 90 seats.

Among these 77, 61 of these candidates are from the JJP, while the remaining are from ASP.

On Wednesday, the alliance declared names of 34 candidates for the upcoming state polls.

A few days ago, on September 4, the alliance released its first list of 19 candidates, fielding former deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala from his stronghold, Uchana Kalan. The JJP has fielded Dushyant's brother and senior leader Digvijay Singh Chautala.

Meanwhile, former MP Ajay Singh Chautala-led JJP and Chandra Shekhar Azad-led Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) recently announced their alliance for the Haryana assembly polls and said that JJP will contest for 70 of the 90 Assembly seats, while the Azad Samaj Party will contest for the remaining 20.

However, the two parties later decided to extend its support on the Rania assembly seat to former minister Ranjit Singh Chautala, who recently quit BJP after being denied a ticket.
