Heart-Wrenching Visuals From Moments After Learjet 45 Aircraft Carrying Ajit Pawar Crashed

Ajit Pawar, Deputy CM of Maharashtra, was on board along with 2 more personnel in a plane that crashed at the threshold of the Baramati airport on Wednesday morning. A video from the exact morning after the tragic crash has now surfaced. As per DGCA officials, no person on board has survived the crash.

As per the report, the plane was chartered by Captain Sahil Madan, with Captain Yash also on board. The plan was scheduled to take off at 7 am, but it was airborne only a little after 8 am. The duration of the flight was 40 minutes. Pawar was headed to Baramati to attend a public rally for the Zilla Parishad Elections. Dy. CM, Maharashtra, was onboard along with 2 more personnel (1 PSO and 1 attendant) and 2 crew (PIC+FO) members.  

 

Visuals from the crash show a large crowd gathered around the crash site. Immediate response and rescue teams hurried to the site to clear the debris and search through the wreckage. The visuals show smoke and charred pieces of the crashed aircraft. The police and other officials could be seen having a challenging time keeping the crowd away from the site. A large number of people gathered at the threshold of Baramati airport to gather more details about the crash. The officials are now rummaging through the wreckage to gather the remains of Ajit Pawar and others who lost their lives in the crash.

PM Modi, Amit Shah take stock of tragic crash 

The tragic death of Ajit Pawar has shocked his followers and politicians alike. As per reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have dialled Devendra Fadnavis, Chief Minister of Maharastra to enquire about the crash.

On the other hand, Pawar's wife, Sunetra and son are enroute Baramati following the news of the crash. Ajit Pawar is one of the most followed leaders in Maharashtra, and his sudden demise has sent shock waves across.
