IMD Predicts Moderate Rainfall In Telangana Tomorrow
Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that moderate rainfall is expected in the state on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: As the Telangana continues to receive heavy rainfall over the last two days, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that moderate rainfall is expected in the state on Tuesday.
"Moderate rainfall is expected in Telangana tomorrow. Rainfall is expected to decrease by the day after. The region has reported 35 per cent excess rainfall. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area has received moderate to heavy rains. Tomorrow, a low-intensity drizzle may continue in Hyderabad," Dr. A. Sravani, an IMD scientist was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced an immediate aid of Rs 5 crore for the flood-affected districts of Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahbubabad, and Suryapet. Additionally, he has declared a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the families of those who lost their lives in the floods. Chief Minister Reddy has directed authorities to swiftly address the public damage and assured that compensation will be increased for losses related to cattle, goats, and sheep.
The Chief Minister's Office has announced that the State Government will present a detailed report on flood damages to the Central Government. Chief Minister Reddy stated that he will send a letter to the Union Government requesting urgent assistance and flood relief. He will also appeal to the Centre to recognize the floods in the State as a national calamity.
