Our message: India is the most vibrant place for science, and we call upon more women to pursue it," they said.

"Both of us are witnessing a wide range of opportunities opening up in our respective sectors. It was unimaginable that a sector like nuclear technology would offer so many opportunities for women in India. Similarly, the increasing participation of women and the private sector in the world of space makes India the most exciting place to innovate and grow! Indian women surely have the talent, and India surely has the right platform!" they added.

3. Anita Devi

Anita Devi, a resident of Anantapur village in Nalanda district and the founder of Madhopur Farmers Producer Company Limited, also shared her struggles and journey on the PM’s account.

With the support of the Bihar government's Jeevika project and the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), she received training in mushroom production. She helped hundreds of women connect with mushroom farming, and her company now provides essential items like fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides to farmers at affordable rates. Today, hundreds of women working in her company are leading lives of self-respect and financial independence.

In her post, she wrote: "My inspiration – to make women self-reliant! With the help of Bihar Government's Jeevika Project and NRLM, I took training in mushroom production. After this, I connected hundreds of women with mushroom farming. Now, my dream is for every woman in the village to stand on her own feet. After the announcement of the establishment of the Makhana Board, I am also exploring work related to Makhana."

4. Ajaita Shah

Ajaita Shah, Founder and CEO of Frontier Markets, which supports rural women, took over PM Modi’s social media to share her journey.

"Our emphasis has always been on integrating technology to ensure the skilling and financial inclusion of women," she wrote.

In her tweet, she added, "One issue that remains close to my heart is the challenges women face in rural areas. These challenges could be financial, access to infrastructure, and more. I have spent the last two decades addressing these issues, and I feel proud to have made a difference. I am also seeing many more women rise to the occasion and do the same."

Through PM @narendramodi’s social media handle, which I have the honor of taking over today, I want to ignite a spark of transformation. Let’s forget labels and barriers and work towards strengthening Sugamya Bharat as a precursor to a Viksit Bharat. Let’s ensure that every woman, every individual, can navigate their life with dignity and independence. Together, let’s build on the recent gains and improve lives for persons with disabilities."
