Parts of Tamil Nadu to Face 8-Hour Power Cut Today: Check Affected Areas

Chennai: Several regions in Tamil Nadu are set to face an electricity outage lasting up to eight hours, from 9 AM to 5 PM on Thursday (October 10). The state's electricity board has announced that this power cut is necessary for maintenance work. Residents have been urged to take necessary precautions and cooperate with electricity board's staff during this period.

Affected Areas of Tamil Nadu to Face Power cut

Madurai District: KK Nagar, Anna Nagar, K. Pudur, Apollo Hospital, Karpaka Nagar, Dairy Market, Munichala, Sellur, Thakur Nagar, Chokkikulam, Aravind Hospital, District Court, Meenachi Nagar, OCMP School, Govt Hospital, Goripalayam.

Theni District: Areas surrounding Periyakulam, including Endapuli, Pudupatti, Kamachipuram, Velnagar, Alagaranayakanpatti, and Nallakaruppanpatti.

Tirupur District: Samathur, Avalchinnampalayam, Thalavaipalayam, Balayur, Nachipalayam, Ponnapuram, Pollachiyur, Pilsinampalayam, Zaminkottampatti, Vadukappalayam, Kurinchari, and in Palladam, areas like Chandrapuram, Oothupalayam, Devanallur, KM.Palayam, and Chellampalayam.

Kallakurichi District: Areas including Asanur, A. Chandanur, Industrial-1, Industrial-2, Oriental, and Eranchi.
