A travel advisory has been issued for all the passengers travelling to the Udaipur Airport, warning them of possible traffic congestions on the way.

The advisory by Vistara reads, “TravelUpdate: Traffic congestion and slow vehicle movement are expected enroute to Udaipur Airport on October 3rd. Customers are advised to allow more time for their journey to the airport. Thank you.”

President Droupadi Murmu 's Rajasthan Visit

While no particular reason has been specified by Vistara for the possible traffic congestions, it may be because of President Droupadi Murmu 's two-day Rajasthan visit; President Murmu will first be visiting Udaipur today, on October 3 and thus, traffic restrictions are likely.

As per the press release by President's Secretariat, “The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu will visit Rajasthan from October 3 to 4, 2024. On October 3, the President will grace the 32nd convocation of Mohanlal Sukhadia University at Udaipur.”

President Murmu's second-day schedule according to the press release is - “On October 4, the President will grace the Global Summit on the theme ‘Spirituality for Clean and Healthy Society’, being organised by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya at Mount Abu. On the same day, she will also grace the Adi Gaurav Samman Samaroh, being organised by the Government of Rajasthan , at Mangarh Dham, Banswara.”
