Bullet Train in Bihar Will Reach Howrah from Buxar in Two Hours, Check the Route

Buxar: Bihar is all set to launch its own bullet train, which will connect Varanasi to Howrah and travel through five districts in the state. 

High-Speed Train set to zoom through several districts including the capital, Patna. A massive 60 km elevated railway track is on the way in Patna, and preparations are already in full swing.

This project is part of the National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited’s ambitious Delhi-Varanasi-Patna-Howrah-Kolkata high-speed rail corridor. The bullet train will race through five key districts in Bihar : Buxar, Arrah, Jehanabad, Patna, and Gaya, hitting speeds of up to 350 km per hour.

Bullet Train to Run at 350 Kilometers per Hour

The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has released the route chart for the Varanasi-Howrah bullet train corridor in Bihar . The bullet train on this route will travel at a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, reducing the journey from Buxar to Howrah to just two hours. This project is part of the Delhi-Howrah bullet train initiative.

An elevated track of over 60 kilometers will be constructed in Patna for this project. Land acquisition of 135 hectares will take place in Danapur, Phulwari Sharif, Sampatchak, Masaurhi, and Vikram areas. Additionally, 95 hectares of land will be acquired in Bhojpur district, where a 50-kilometer-long elevated track and a station will be built. According to NHSRCL’s plans, the bullet train will pass through 38 villages in Bhojpur district.
