Rohit Sharma secretly records Shikhar Dhawan talking in sleep, watch

Rohit Sharma had secretly recorded a video of Shikhar Dhawan talking to himself during flight. However, Gabbar clarified that he was practicing Shayari.

Indian opener Rohit Sharma has not had the brightest of starts to the home season with a failure with the bat during the second T20I against South Africa. But that has not affected Rohit Sharma as he seemed to be in a mood to have fun during Team India's flight journey.

Rohit Sharma plays a prank on Shikhar Dhawan

Rohit Sharma decided to pull his opening partner Shikhar Dhawan's leg during the flight. The 'Hitman' secretly shot a video of Shikhar Dhawan murmuring something and from the first look, it appeared that Dhawan was talking to himself. The Indian vice-captain then went on to post the hilarious video on social media.

Shikhar Dhawan makes a clarification

After Rohit Sharma had posted a video of Dhawan talking to himself on Instagram, the southpaw came forward and made a clarification. Gabbar wrote that he was practising Shayari and reciting it from the bottom of his heart and that is when Sharma had recorded his video. The Delhi cricketer then added that if only he could have been so passionate during his studies. Shikhar Dhawan's clarification even left former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh in splits who had posted a laughter emoji. 

Rohit Sharma's dream run in the World Cup

Rohit Sharma scored 648 runs at the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. Not only was he the leading run-scorer of the tournament but he also scored five hundreds, which is the highest number of hundreds scored by any batsman in a single edition of the World Cup. The 'Hitman' scored hundreds against South Africa, Pakistan, England, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. Rohit was a very big factor in India easily making it to the semi-finals of the World Cup and fans really admired Sharma for his consistency. He was dismissed early in the semi-finals against New Zealand as India suffered a heartbreaking exit from the quadrennial event.
