The importance of Kohli's knock

After Virat Kohli's splendid knock had put his team in a commanding position, the Indian skipper came forward to discuss the knock and also mentioned about his other double tons as well. Kohli said that he felt great to have got most number of double hundreds in his Test career.

"I struggled to get big scores initially but then as soon as I became captain then you invariably just think about the team all the time and you can't think about your own game. In that process you end up batting more than you can imagine," said Kohli.

The Indian skipper then added that it has been his mindset for a long time and that he was very happy that it was a dominating day for the them once again and his team was in a top position which made him happy overall.

Kohli on his favourite double century

"Well all are nice. All double hundreds feel good but I think if you ask me then the two would be Antigua and Mumbai against England (2016). So ya, all double hundreds are special but those two are more special beacuse one was away from home and another one was against England in challenging conditions."

"It was very hot and humid there as well but ya, all of them feel nice," Kohli concluded.
