In February 2016, Rashford was a late addition to the Manchester United starting line-up for their second leg UEFA Europa League Round of 32 tie against Midtjylland after Anthony Martial was injured in a warm-up session. Rashford marked his first-team debut with two goals in the second half as United won 5–1. Rashford's goal in the 75th minute made him Manchester United's youngest ever scorer in any European competition, beating a record previously held by George Best, before finally being broken by Mason Greenwood in the 2019–20 season. Rashford introduced himself to the Premier League when facing one of United's main rivals back in February 2016, scoring twice against Arsenal on his debut in the competition.
