Indian opener Abhishek Sharma was involved in an exchange with Pakistani bowler Sufiyan Muqeem after being dismissed in the seventh over.
A heated moment erupted during the India A vs Pakistan Shaheens clash in the ACC T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup on Saturday, October 19, at Al Amerat. Indian opener Abhishek Sharma was involved in an exchange with Pakistani bowler Sufiyan Muqeem after being dismissed in the seventh over of the first innings.

Abhishek Sharma involved in heated exchange with Pakistan pacer
Abhishek Sharma, who had started to look dangerous, was caught out at backward point off Sufiyan Muqeem's bowling. As he walked back to the pavilion, Muqeem gave him a send-off, gesturing for him to keep quiet and exchanging some words. Abhishek stopped in his tracks and gave Muqeem a death stare, prompting the umpire to intervene and ask him to continue walking back.
The incident didn't end there, as Abhishek Sharma also exchanged some words with Sufiyan Muqeem as he walked back to the pavilion. The moment was a tense one, with both players showing their competitive spirits. However, it's important to note that the incident was not prolonged and did not escalate further.

The match continued with India A posting a competitive total of 183/8 in 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma scored 35 off 22 balls. Indian captain Tilak Varma top-scored with his 44-run knock. Pakistan Shaheens are currently attempting to chase the total down.
