BCCI Confirm Star India Trio's Return To Test Cricket After 258 Days, Problems Galore For Bangladesh

India vs Bangladesh First Test: The Indian Cricket team is all set to face off against Bangladesh in a billateral series here in India from 19th September onwards. The series begins with a test match between the two nations. The squad for the test match against Bangladesh was just announced by the BCCI and winning this series against Bangladesh will be crucial for India and their World Test Championship hopes. India will face off against a travelling Bangladesh and then will play a test series against New Zealand at home. India will end the year by playing the Border Gavaskar trophy against Australia in the land down under. 

The series against Bangladesh will also witness three of India's biggest stars playing together after 258 days in a test match.

India's Schedule For The Bangladesh Test Series 

India and Bangladesh will be playing a billateral series against one another as Bangladesh visit India. The two teams will play a test match from 19th September onwards. Then India and Bangladesh will play the second test match from 27 September onwards which will conclude on 1st October.

The two countries will then move to a three match T20 series. 

1st Test- 19th September to 23 September 

2nd Test- 27 September to 1st October 

1st T20- 6 October 

2nd T20- 9 October 

3rd T20- 12 October 

Return Of India's Star Trio 

India's star trio of Jasprit Bumrah , Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will play a test match together after 258 days. The trio last played a test match together in South Africa which India drew. The return of the three star players means a world of problems for the Bangladesh team as the three Indian stars have an exceptional record in India.

Also with India having the home ground advantage against Bangladesh , the trio of Virat, Rohit and Bumrah could spin circles around Bangladesh as India is not Pakistan as much as Bangladesh would like to think so.
