The past few days have seen a lot of news coverage on Hardik Pandya. After Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the T20 format, the Indian all-rounder appeared to be the front-runner to be elevated to the position of captain. But selectors and the team's new head coach, Gautam Gambhir, narrowed the field to Suryakumar Yadav. Pandya suffered a personal blow as well because he announced his divorce from his wife Natasa Stankovic the same day he was voted out as captain. The couple will share custody of their son Agastya, whom they married four years ago. The Mumbai Indians skipper made his first public appearance on Saturday after taking a professional-personal hit, but he chose not to talk about the urgent problems in his life.

Hardik Pandya shares his incredible transformation mantra

Hardik Pandya, the top all-rounder for Team India, has offered observations on his constant pursuit of maximum fitness. The thirty-year-old underlined that the human body might become whatever wanted with enough effort.

Having only two appearances owing to an ankle injury acquired during the game against Bangladesh, Pandya was disappointed to miss the 2023 World Cup. Although his fitness was dubious during IPL 2024, he recovered top form in the next T20 World Cup, thereby helping to bring an 11-year trophy drought of India to an end.

The seam-bowling all-rounder thought back on realising his potential pace  in a recent media engagement PTI reportedly cited him as saying:

“I used to bowl if I'm not wrong 130s; higher 130s, I was able to go 140 plus, 142 by pushing, that's when I realised by 2017 or not as soon as I started getting more more into my body, more knowledge about it and that's when I start pushing.”

“Start pushing your barrier every single day because the human body is such a lovely creation by god that it will mould however you want (it) to, however you want to have it, it's just that it just needs little hard work.”
