Kevin Pietersen's advice for Nandre Burger
In his debut Test appearance, Nandre Burger impressed by taking early wickets, dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill. Former England captain Kevin Pietersen, who was born in South Africa, praised the 28-year-old for his bowling performance while offering a piece of advice.
Nandre Burger made a breakthrough in the 10th over of the Indian innings, securing his maiden Test wicket by removing Yashasvi Jaiswal, who contributed 17 runs. He then dismissed Shubman Gill for 2 runs in the 12th over.
It's worth noting that both Burger and Jaiswal will be teammates in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Rajasthan Royals (RR) acquired Burger's services, signing him for ₹50 lakh in the recently concluded IPL 2024 mini-auction in Dubai.
