Richa Ghosh, a wicketkeeper-batter was handed her test cricket debut cap by vice captain Smriti Mandhana among her teammates and family in Wankhede Stadium.

After coming off a commanding win over England, the Indian Women's Cricket Team are now facing Australia in an all-format series. The Aussie Women's team is a force to be reckoned with, and they have showcased quite a performance lately. But Team India Women have displayed insane capabilities when it comes to test cricket. Ahead of the match, a special moment took place as a player was presented with her test debut cap at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Keeper-batter Richa Ghosh makes her test cricket debut, receives cap from vice-captain 

The IND-W vs AUS-W one-off test match was a big day for wicketkeeper-batter Richa Ghosh as she made her debut for the Indian Cricket Team in the Test format. While at the Wankhede Stadium, Ghosh received her debut cap from Team India Women's vice-captain, Smriti Mandhana. She was surrounded by her team and her family members as Mandhana handed her the cap and embraced Ghosh with a hug.

In the one-off test match against the England Women's Cricket Team, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur and the team welcomed three debutants in the squad. Team India thrashed England in the one-off test and made history by securing the largest victory margin in women's Tests.
