India Stumper KL Rahul Unleashes Fiery Batting Skills in Thrilling Nets Showdown Ahead of SL ODIs

India wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul has been sweating it out in the nets as he prepares for the Sri Lanka ODIs, which will begin after the T20I leg of matches.

As Team India gears up for the Sri Lanka series, top players will be seen in action in the T20Is and the ODIs. One of the star players who will be making a return is KL Rahul, who hasn't been seen for a while on the national side. The stumper lost his spot to Rishabh Pant in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup and is yet to return to action for Team India after he features in the inaugural Test Match of the England series. The Karnataka-based stumper now has a chance to return and make an impact for the national side, and he has been breaking his sweat with the bat as KL begins his practice.

KL Rahul gears up for action ahead of Sri Lanka ODIs, smashes the bowler in net practice

The year 2024 will mark the return of Team India wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul as the star cricketer will be a part of the ODI leg of matches in the Men in Blue's tour of Sri Lanka. The Stumper is a vital component of the ODI setup, and before travelling to the Island nation, KL has been gearing up for it as he has begun his practice in the nets.

In a video shared by KL Rahul on the social media platform X (Formerly Twitter), the wicketkeeper-batter could be seen smashing the balls out of the park as he faced the net bowlers. A person could be heard saying “Good shot, Bhaiyaa,” as he hit the shots during practice.

Team India will compete in a white-ball series against Sri Lanka, and it will begin with Suryakumar Yadav captaining the Men in Blue's T20I side. Hardik Pandya will also be a part of the team as they will compete in the Pallekele International Stadium starting from July 27th, 2024. The ODI series will begin after that, marking the return of senior players like Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, and more. It will be Gautam Gambhir's first ODI assignment, and most of the senior members of the side will be a part of it during the ODIs.
