IND vs SA: South Africa suffer huge setback as star pacer gets ruled out, will it help India?

South Africa's Gerald Coetzee ruled out of 2nd Test against India due to pelvic inflammation after SA beat India by an innings and 32 runs in the 1st Test.

South Africa won the first Test match between India and South Africa, which was held at SuperSport Park Cricket Stadium from December 26 to December 28 by an innings and 32 runs. KL Rahul scored 101 runs to lead India to 245 runs in their opening innings. Dean Elgar scored 185 runs in the first innings, which helped South Africa reply with a dominant 408 runs. India struggled in their second innings, scoring just 131 runs, with the bowling of Nandre Burger and Marco Jansen being particularly important. Dean Elgar's outstanding batting display earned him the Player of the Match award.

Gerald Coetzee ruled out of the 2nd Test against India 

Gerald Coetzee, a fast bowler for South Africa, sustained pelvic inflammation during the first Test at Centurion, and will miss the second and final Test against India. On the third day of the first Test, the 23-year-old's ailment got worse while he was bowling. He bowled just five overs in the second innings and only took one wicket in the first. In the match, South Africa won handily, winning by an innings and thirty-two runs.

Cricket For the Test match that will begin in Cape Town on January 3, South Africa has chosen not to include a substitute for Coetzee in the team. Lungi Ngidi and Wiaan Mulder are the team's other fast-bowling options, and both are up for selection. Not only that, but Keshav Maharaj, who was left out of the first Test, may be included.
