The Ishan Kishan Mania steers for the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the first innings set the tempo as the Indian batter's unbeaten century set them up for a huge total against Rajasthan Royals . Despite Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel putting up a fighting display, the Rajasthan Royals couldn't manage to capitalize as they were defeated by the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 44 Runs.
Rajasthan Royals' Fightback Falls Flat As SRH Secures 44-Run Win At Uppal
Rajasthan Royals saw some early wickets fall when opener Yashasvi Jaiswal fell after just one run while skipper Riyan Parag also failed to make an impact. But Sanju Samson, who came in as the impact player, was determined to make an impact on the game. The stumper pulled off a 37-ball 66 and scored big hits to keep RR's hopes in the game alive. Wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel also looked in control as he scored 70 off 35 balls for the Royals. Shimron Hetmeyer continued the onslaught with strong strikes and he helped sail the ball off the boundary line.
Despite RR's attack, the Sunrisers Hyderabad's bowling arsenal did not hesitate as they built the pressure and chipped off crucial wickets. They made an impact right from the beginning, with Harshal Patel taking two wickets while Simarjeet Singh also had an impressive outing by scalping two as well.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Get The Cracking Win They Needed In IPL 2025
Ishan Kishan's unbeaten innings helped the Sunrisers Hyderabad to a record-breaking 286/8 victory over the Rajasthan Royals. Kishan scored his first IPL century in 45 balls after Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma set the stage. The Australian opener smashed a 31-ball 67, while Abhishek scored 24 off 11 balls to shift the momentum in Hyderabad's favour.
SRH's middle order also performed admirably, with Nitish Reddy scoring 30 runs and Heinrich Klassen contributing 34. Tushar Deshpande scalped three wickets and Theekshana took two. RR needed a strong push with the batting as SRH caused so much damage. But they could not recover despite putting up a fighting effort. Head and Abhishek gave the preferred start that SRH needed, and Ishan Kishan put the cherry on top with his spectacular knock which helped them secure the second-highest team total in IPL history.
