'Time Le Ke Daalo Koi...': Rishabh Pant Unleashes Beast Mode During LSG's Practice Session Ahead Of IPL 2025

Indian Premier League: Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rishabh Pant went full-on during the practice session. The India wicketkeeper-batter will be leading the Lucknow-based franchise in the upcoming edition of the tournament. In the IPL 2025 mega-auction, LSG roped in Pant for a hefty amount of Rs 27 crore, which made him the most expensive player in the history of the IPL.

Pant has played 111 IPL matches, where he scored 3248 runs at a strike rate of 148.93 and an average of 35.31. In the T20 tournament, the wicketkeeper-batter slammed one century and 18 fifties.

Lucknow Super Giants shared a clip of Pant's batting during the practice session at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow, where the 27-year-old was seen unleashing the beast mode. Before the start of the IPL 2025, Pant looked to be in his top form.

"Time le ke daalo koi jaldi nahi hai, apne ko bhi saans chahiye thodi si" (take your time and bowl, I need some time to breathe too)," Pant said in the video shared by LSG on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“That sound… uffff,” LSG wrote while sharing Pant's clip on social media.

First Time In IPL, Pant Will Be Playing For Any Other Franchise Other Than DC

Pant made his IPL debut in 2016 and since then he had been playing for the Delhi Capitals. The 2025 season will be the first time, the 27-year-old will be playing for any other franchise. In IPL 2024, Pant played 13 matches, scoring 446 runs at a strike rate of 155.40 and an average of 40.55. In the IPL 2025, Pant-led Lucknow Super Giants will begin their campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 24 at ACA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. 

Last season, the Super Giants displayed a sloppy performance in the tournament, finishing in seventh place on the IPL 2024 standings with 14 points.
