'Pakistan & fielding never...': Shikhar Dhawan's golden reaction to PAK's blunder vs AUS

Pakistan and Australia are currently playing a warm-up match as part of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 preparations in Hyderabad, India, where the 50-over marquee event is scheduled to take place. The ODI World Cup will kick off on October 5 with a rematch of the 2019 final between England and New Zealand. Pakistan are slated to play their opening match against the Netherlands on October 6. Australia, on the other hand, will face the hosts India in Chennai on October 8 to start their World Cup campaign.

Pakistan players make hilarious fielding blunder against Australia

In a comical turn of events, Pakistani players Mohammad Wasim and Mohammad Nawaz found themselves in a humorous fielding mix-up during Australia's innings in the match. The incident unfolded during the 23rd over with Marnus Labuschagne at the crease, facing Haris Rauf's delivery. Labuschagne gently pushed the ball towards the square leg area, leading to a moment of confusion as the two fielders in the deep converged, only to abruptly abandon their pursuit. Haris Rauf was not surprised at all given Pakistan's history of fielding gaffes.

Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who is not a part of the ODI World Cup squad, has reacted to Pakistani players' blunder in the game. He took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share his reaction to the hilarious fielding mistake.

The scene left everyone, including their teammate Shaheen Afridi, utterly astonished and amused. Shaheen, unable to suppress his laughter, added to the hilarity of the moment.
