Ind vs Ban: India captain Rohit Sharma is set to address the media today ahead of the first Test at Chennai versus Bangladesh . The press conference is scheduled to start in the afternoon on Tuesday, a couple of days ahead of the Test match. It would be interesting to see if the Indian captain announces the playing XI for the Chennai Test or not. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named in the official squad first Test match against Bangladesh , which will take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The first test match will begin on September 19, 2024, at 09:30 AM IST. After the two-Test series against Bangladesh , India will host New Zealand for a three-match Test series before travelling to Australia later in the year for the much-awaited Border Gavaskar Trophy.
