IPL 2025: The first Sunday of the Indian Premier League is going to be super exciting when CSK take on familiar foes in MI. It will be the El Classico where Rohit will flaunt off his new weapon. He is going to wear gloves with the initials ‘SAR’. Once he wore that at the training session, it confused fans.

The Rohit fans could not figure out what ‘SAR’ meant initially - but later - it was revealed. The 'SAR' initials on Rohit's gloves stand for Samaira, Ahaan, and Ritika - his daughter, son, and wife, respectively. It is a wonderful way to show the love he has for his family. Meanwhile, the onus would be on the experienced Rohit to get MI off to good starts. In all probability, he opens with Ricky Rickleton. Rohit would be high-on-confidence after having led Team India to the Champions Trophy 2025 title.

Dhoni was retained as an uncapped player at Rs 4 crore ahead of the 2025 season also because of the experience he brings to the table.
