Netizens blast Team India for poor show vs South Africa

Meanwhile, what shocked Indian fans the most was the performance of the Rohit Sharma-led side in the second innings of the game when South Africa came to bat. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj picked up two wickets each, while Prasidh Krishna, Shardul Thakur, and Ravichandran Ashwin secured one wicket each to their names. Indian bowlers were not as aggressive as their South African counterparts, which fans seem to have taken emotionally. Netizens pointed out the way India used to play Test cricket under Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri's leadership.

The Kohli-Shastri era that the fans are referring to is considered one of the greatest periods in the history of Indian cricket. They made India into a formidable Test side that could go in SENA countries and win series. Under Kohli and Shastri's leadership, India defeated Australia in a Test series twice on the Australian soil.
