India and Bangladesh are currently locking horns against each other in the first Test of their two-match series at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first against India in what is being touted as a crucial match. India posted 376 runs in the first innings thanks to a much-needed partnership between R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja. Indian bowlers then demolished the visitors for a mere 149 runs in the second innings.

Virat Kohli shakes a leg to celebrate Shakib Al Hasan's dismissal

In a thrilling moment during the 31st over of Bangladesh 's innings, all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan's dismissal sparked a joyous celebration from the Indian team. Shakib, who top-scored for Bangladesh with 32 runs, attempted a reverse sweep on Ravindra Jadeja's delivery but edged the ball to wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant , who took a brilliant catch behind the stumps.

After a brief review, the umpire confirmed the dismissal, prompting the Indian team to erupt in celebration. Star batter Virat Kohli , known for his infectious enthusiasm, took center stage with his hilarious dance moves. The crowd and fans watching from home couldn't help but be entertained by Kohli's carefree and playful antics.

Kohli's impromptu dance added a lighthearted moment to the intense match.

India vs Bangladesh , 1st Test, Day 3

Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill cleansed months of hurt, anxiety and disappointments of varying nature with emotional hundreds on the third day to place India in a prime position to win the first Test against Bangladesh here Saturday.

Gill (119 not out) and Pant (109 led the hosts' run glut with an alliance of 167 for the fourth wicket that helped India, overnight 81/3, declare their second innings at 287 for 4 for an overall lead of 514.

Bangladesh showed some spunk in their second innings to reach 158 for four when play was called off at 4.25 pm due to bad light. They still need a whopping 357 runs for the result to be in their favour.
