Virat Kohli , who has been part of RCB since it's inception, would get a hike in his salary thanks to the new retention rules. All of this thanks to the hike in first retention salary. So, Kohli, who was fetching Rs 15 Cr, would now be getting Rs 18 crore if he is picked as RCB's first retention. In all probability, that would happen. The extra Rs 3 crore is a major boost for Kohli, reflecting his importance to the franchise. Apart from this, players who feature in the XI, would get an additional Rs 7.5 lakh as well. Without a doubt, Kohli could break the bank if he is released and is there at the auction pool in the upcoming mega auction.
