Kieron Pollard, the former West Indies captain with an illustrious T20 career encompassing 101 matches, is set to contribute his expertise to the England men's T20 team as part of their coaching setup during the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and the United States.

Appointed as an assistant coach, Kieron Pollard will lend his insights, particularly in understanding the local conditions for the T20 World Cup 2024 as the tournament is scheduled to be held in the Caribbean and the USA. 

Renowned for his pivotal role in the West Indies' 2012 men’s T20 World Cup triumph, Pollard brings extensive experience from over 600 T20 matches to enhance England's campaign. England will enter the competition as the defending champions, having won the World Cup in Australia in 2022.
