After the conclusion of IPL 2024, the focus has now shifted to the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, slated to be held in the USA and West Indies in June. This will be the first ICC World Cup tournament to feature matches played in the United States, and in any country in the Americas outside the West Indies. 

England, the defending champions, won the previous edition by defeating Pakistan in the final. The T20 World Cup 2024 will see a record 20 teams competing, expanding from the 16 teams that participated in the 2022 tournament.
