Robert Lewandowski hails Barcelona’s young gun Lamine Yamal
Declared one of the best strikers in the game, Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has complimented his youthful colleague Lamine Yamal. The 17-year-old has shown incredible performance since beginning his career with the team.
Yamal first appeared in the 2022–23 season and soon became a regular member of Xavi's side last year, accumulating seven goals and nine assists in 50 games across all competitions.
During Euro 2024, he kept surprising with the Spanish national team, scoring one goal and four assists in seven games thus enabling Spain to win their fourth European title.

And in the next 15 years, he will be 32.”
"When I see the next generation, they have a huge challenge, from them, in the social media. One day, you are the hero, but the next day, you are on the ground."I wish for him that he will be strong for the long career, and it doesn't matter what the people are saying now, or what the people are going to say, he stays on the ground and thinks 'okay, that is part of my life, the football that I want to enjoy, I want to give the fans a lot of happiness in the end'."
Recording four goals and five assists in only eight games for Hansi Flick's La Liga leaders, Lamine Yamal has had a major effect this season. Three of those goals and all five assists have come in league play, notably.
