Exposing Pakistan’s New Terror Blueprint amid Infiltration, Violence, and Jammu’s Security Crisis
Following the 2020 Galwan clashes, where 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives, the Army redeployed a significant contingent from Jammu to the Line of Actual Control (LAC), inadvertently weakening the security grid in Jammu. Security experts note that this shift has left Jammu more vulnerable to terrorist activities, as hostile elements aim to engage India on both its western ( Pakistan ) and northern (China) fronts. In recent encounters in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, security forces killed three terrorists in two separate anti-infiltration operations. These incidents highlight the growing threat of terrorism in regions like the Chenab Valley and areas south of the Pir Panjal, where militancy is resurging after two decades of relative peace. Pakistan's terror infrastructure is reportedly behind this resurgence. Training camps like the 'FALCONS NEXUS CAMP' in Abbottabad are breeding grounds for future militants. Evolving tactics by groups like The Resistance Front (TRF) and People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF), believed to be fronts for Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), pose significant challenges. These groups have been particularly active in Rajouri and Poonch, adopting brutal methods and strategic ambushes against Indian security forces.
