Ram Navmi Celebrations Across India

Ram navmi is celebrated across India. Navratri 2023 will conclude on October 23 with the worship of Goddess Siddidatri. As per religious texts, devotees worship Maa Siddhidatri to grant them wishes. The ninth day of Navratri, known as Navami, is the last day of the festival and is followed by Dussehra. Thus, the day is celebrated with joy. Pleased with the worship of the devotees and their offerings, it is believed that Goddess Siddhidatri grants her blessings to all deities when they are in trouble. It is also believed that the Goddess blesses people with happiness and prosperity which makes their dreams come true. The meaning of her name is "the one who gives us power". On the concluding days of Navratri, each region has a different way of celebrating. While some organise kanya puja wherein unmarried girls are invited for prasad offerings, other devotees organise hawan puja to seek divine blessings. Goddess Saraswati is also worshipped on the ninth day of the 9-day festival. The Goddess of wisdom and education is usually worshipped by devotees on all nine days of Navratri and immersed on the concluding day.
