'Fraudkart' or Flipkart?': Customer Orders Rs 30,000 Speakers, Receives Cheap Alternative
A Flipkart customer was shocked when a Rs 30,000 speaker order was replaced with a Mi Bluetooth device, sparking outrage and criticism over delivery errors.
Scams and frauds happening on e-commerce websites are not a new thing, and in a recent incident, a man claimed that his friend got a low-cost Bluetooth speaker after placing an order for the Sonos speakers, which was worth Rs 30,000.
He posted the whole incident on social media platform X, where he started the post by writing “Alert: Big Flipkart Fraud Found” Help Needed. Later in this post, he explained how his friend Nikhil ordered a Sonos speaker worth Rs 30,000, and instead of that, he got a Bluetooth speaker from Mi, which is worth Rs 2,400. And the interesting thing is, the Bluetooth speakers got delivered in the box of Sonos Speakers.
Later, he wrote, “Even after multiple follow-ups and complaints, Flipkart and Flipkart Support do not care to respond to or resolve this.
My friend also recorded a video of the unboxing, which I have attached as proof and some photos.
It is quite sad that even when a customer has proof of a fake or wrong product delivered, they do not care to respond.”

User Reactions to the Viral X Post:
“Flipkart customer service sucks. They have taken down Myntra alongwith it. Uninstalled Flipkart long back, removed Myntra last month. Don't let it go. Get his payment then remove Flipkart,” said one user.
Another one added, “Don't know when will people learn. Why order expensive items online? Every day these cases happen. Stick to low-value items, and buy expensive items from stores.”
A third user said, “Recently ordered products from Flipkart, All were open box deliveries and they ask OTP once you are satisfied with what you ordered. This has become a process for expensive products due to scams. Not sure why this process was not followed in your friend's case.”
“Flip kart is really improving, a speaker for speaker, back in those days ppl used to receive crazy items like soap bars lol,” shared one.
