Beirut: Hezbollah and its close ally Iran horrified, as Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was eliminated in an Israeli airstrike on September 27. Shocking reports have surfaced that suggest an Iranian spy may have been a source behind the Israeli authorities strike who revealed Nasrallah's location prior to the airstrike.

Hezbollah Chief Death

Nasrallah, who had been living in hiding since the 2006 war with Israel, has finally been eliminated by the Israeli Air Force in a covert operation.

The Israeli authorities on Saturday announced to have eliminated Nasrallah in a targeted strike on Hezbollah's underground headquarters in a suburban area of Beirut. Hezbollah also confirmed Nasrallah's death and mourned his loss.

Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the man behind the terror attacks in Israel for a very long time causing the deaths of many Jews, had been a top Israeli target for decades.

Iranian Spy Tip-Off

According to international reports, an Iranian spy revealed Israeli authorities of Nasrallah's whereabouts and confirmed the underground location of headquarters minutes before the airstrike happened.

Israel launched a major airstrike on the building, resulting in significant damage and casualties. The Lebanese Health Ministry reported six deaths and 91 injuries.

Israeli Defense Forces shared the satellite images of Hezbollah’s central headquarters, located in the heart of Beirut, embedded beneath civilian buildings.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the strike as essential for achieving Israel's goals. He warned Iran against any retaliatory actions, emphasising Israel's ability to reach any target in the region.

New Hezbollah Leader

Hezbollah has named Hashem Safieddine, Nasrallah's cousin, as the new leader. Safieddine, a prominent figure within Hezbollah, has previously headed the group's political affairs. Just like his brother Nasrallah, Safieddine has been designated a terrorist by the US and Saudi Arabia.
