A video has surfaced on the internet, which shows the bunker of Hassan Nasrallah, the Hezbollah Chief killed in the Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon's Beirut. The bunker has also been completely destroyed due to the strikes and while it is not confirmed, it is likely that Nasrallah may have been in this bunker, when attacked by Israel.
According to media reports, the bunker is almost 90 feet underground and served as a shield for Nasrallah, who was killed in the Israeli airstrike on Saturday.
IDF First Confirmed Death of Hassan Nasrallah
The news of Hassan Nasrallah's death was first broken by the Israeli Defence Forces who shared a post on ‘X' (formerly known as Twitter) saying, “Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world.”
Following this post, an official statement was issued by the IDF. It said, "The IDF announces that yesterday (Friday), September 27th, 2024, Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Hezbollah terrorist organization and one of its founders, was eliminated by the IDF, together with Ali Karki, the Commander of Hezbollah’s Southern Front, and additional Hezbollah commanders.
Following precise intelligence from the IDF and Israeli security establishment, IAF fighter jets conducted a targeted strike on the Central Headquarters of the Hezbollah terrorist organization, which was located underground embedded under a residential building in the area of Dahieh in Beirut. The strike was conducted while Hezbollah’s senior chain of command were operating from the headquarters and advancing terrorist activities against the citizens of the State of Israel.

Hezbollah Calls Nasrallah ‘Great Martyr’ in Official Statement
Hezbollah announced on Saturday that its long-serving leader, Hassan Nasrallah, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut. The group, in an official statement, confirmed that Nasrallah, who led Hezbollah for nearly three decades, had died as a “great martyr” in what it described as a 'treacherous' raid.
The statement, beginning with a religious invocation, hailed Nasrallah as a “heroic, daring, brave, wise, insightful, and faithful leader” who had led Hezbollah “from victory to victory.” His leadership, which began after the death of his predecessor in 1992, saw the group’s rise to prominence, most notably through the liberation of southern Lebanon from Israeli occupation in 2000 and the 2006 war with Israel, which Hezbollah refers to as the “Glorious Divine Victory.”
