IND vs SA T20I: Hardik Pandya Keeps Mask On During Practice As Toss Gets Delayed At Lucknow's Ekana Stadium
Hardik Pandya trained wearing a mask ahead of the 4th T20I in Lucknow, where heavy fog and hazardous air quality (AQI 403) impacted visibility and conditions at the Ekana Stadium.
Hardik Pandya prioritised his personal safety in Lucknow by wearing a face mask during training. With the air quality in Lucknow being at hazardous levels, the Indian all-rounder chose not to be a hero and wore a mask as he undertook some pre-match workouts.
Ahead of the fourth T20I match between India and South Africa at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
The Suryakumar Yadav-led Team India were supposed to lock horns against South Africa in the 4th T20I at Lucknow.
However, the conditions at hand have delayed the action as excessive fog has affected the visibility. The toss has been delayed due to the poor conditions.
Hardik Pandya Wears A Mask Amid Hazardous AQI Levels In Lucknow
India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was seen wearing a mask as the team underwent training ahead of the penultimate T20I match between the Men in Blue and the Proteas Men.
The live broadcast showed the Indian cricketer wearing a mask and engaging with others. Visibility is poor at the Ekana Stadium as foggy conditions take over the city of Lucknow.
Another reason for Hardik Pandya wearing a mask during workouts is the current air quality around the city, as Lucknow's air quality is at hazardous levels, with the numbers soaring at 403 (PM10: 383 µg/m³, PM2.5: 277 µg/m³).

Toss For IND vs SA 4th T20I Delayed Due To Excessive Fog
The toss for the 4th T20I match has been pushed back because of heavy fog and poor visibility. On-field umpires Rohan Pandit and KN Ananthapadmanabhan have been inspecting conditions to determine whether the action could take place in Lucknow.
As of now, the signs are grim, as they have made multiple checks, but the toss is yet to take place.
Despite the delay, the fans at the Ekana Stadium have kept their enthusiasm at the highest level. The conditions haven't improved yet, and it is yet to be seen whether any kind of play takes place at Ekana.
