Yashasvi Jaiswal & Virat Kohli Star in India’s Nine-Wicket Rout of South Africa, Swing Series Win 2-1
India, led by KL Rahul, crushed South Africa by nine wickets in Vizag to seal a 2-1 ODI series win, thrilling fans with a dominant display at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium.
The KL Rahul-led Indian cricket team have clinched a comprehensive victory over South Africa. At the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, the fans were treated to a brilliant showcase from the Indian cricketers.
The Men in Blue's nine-wicket win over the Proteas Men has helped them secure a 2-1 lead in the One-Day series. The hosts avenged the whitewash defeat to the visiting side in the two-match Test series.
South Africa Put Up A Low Par Target Against India
Team India looked right on track after breaking the toss-losing streak and opting to bowl first against South Africa. It turned out to be a strategic decision as the bowling unit displayed finesse against the visitors and were on a wicket-taking rampage.
South Africa started off with a hundred from Quinton de Kock and a 48-run knock from captain Temba Bavuma. Ryan Rickelton was dismissed for a four-ball duck.
The Proteas Men couldn't stand out with the bat as they suffered a collapse. Matthew Breetzke scored 24, while Dewald Brevis put up 29 runs before being dismissed. Marco Janses put up 17, while Keshav Maharaj's unbeaten 20 helped SA reach 270 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna pulled off a sensational spell as they picked their respective four-fers. Arshdeep Singh and Ravindra Jadeja also clinched a wicket each to help restrict SA under a chaseable target.
India Clinch 2-1 Series Victory Over South Africa With Nine-Wicket Win In 3rd ODI
In response, Team India's top order delivered a sensational outing against South Africa. Yashasvi Jaiswal carried the team by forming clinical partnerships with Rohit Sharma and then Virat Kohli.
Jaiswal raked up a 121-ball 116, securing his maiden one-day hundred. He now has a ton across all three formats of the game.

Rohit Sharma's golden form with the bat continued in Visakhapatnam. He put up a brilliant 73-ball 75, scoring seven boundaries and three sixes.
Virat Kohli too shone through with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 65 off 45 in the competition.
Team India chased down the target in 39.5 overs, with Virat Kohli scoring the winning boundary and securing the victory and a 2-1 series lead.
