India Women and Sri Lanka Women have named changes for the fourth T20I match, which takes place at the Greenfield Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. India will be batting first for the first time in the series after Sri Lanka opted to bowl first after winning the toss.

Both sides have two changes in their squads. For the India Women, it will be a place to test their players, given that they have already sealed a victory in the series. Sri Lanka Women aim for pride and consistency in the remaining matches.

India Name Couple Of Changes In Playing XI For 4th T20I

India Women's captain Harmanpreet Kaur has made two changes in the squad, with Harleen Deol and Arundhati Reddy returning to the squad. Jemimah Rogrigues misses out as she is unwell, while Kranti Goud has been rested for this match-up.

Harmanpreet further added that the Sri Lanka bilateral will serve as the ideal place where they could test their players and set the tone by giving them the correct task.

"This is an ideal series for us where we can test all the players and give them a right platform. I'm really happy everyone is coming up and giving their best. In this series, we are batting first for the first time, so I'm not going to put any target in mind today. Hopefully, we'll put up a good total of the board," Harmanpreet Kaur said at the toss, as quoted by Cricbuzz.

Sri Lanka Also Alter Playing Side, Opt To Bowl First

Sri Lanka has finally won the toss in the T20I bilaterals, and captain Chamari Athapaththu has opted to bowl first. The visiting side also made two changes. Rashmika Sewwandi and Kawya Kavindi have been called into the squad.

At the toss, the Sri Lankan-W captain expressed the need to play their best cricket and will look to chase, as it would be easier with the dew coming in.

"We batted first in the last three matches. Chasing will be a little bit easier with the dew coming in. We have to play our best cricket," Chamari Athapaththu said at the toss.
