Ruturaj Gaikwad Heaps Praise On MS Dhoni

While speaking at the toss, CSK skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad gave no update on Dhoni. However, he acknowledged that Dhoni is a major crowd-puller.

“Wherever you go, men in yellow, there’s a lot of noise? Yes, obviously all thanks to the legend (Dhoni), who is unfortunately not here. But it is because of him. Everywhere you go, we have a lot of support. Hopefully, we’ll make them happy tonight,” Gaikwad said.

On the other hand, MI captain Hardik Pandya also revealed that they are going with the same team.

Meanwhile, Dhoni has missed CSK’s first seven games of IPL 2026 due to a calf strain sustained before the start of the season.
