Shreyas Iyer Posts First Message

Indian ODI vice-captain Shreyas Iyer took to his social media to express gratitude towards his fans for all the wishes that he received so far. Iyer had seriously injured himself while sticking to a blinder during the third ODI that was played between India and Australia in Sydney. Iyer had to run back and cover a lot of ground to hold on to the ball that was played by Alex Carey, off Harshit Rana's delivery. In the process, Iyer fell awkwardly on his ribs and ended up injuring himself.

"I am currently in the recovery process and getting better, every passing day. I am deeply grateful to see all the kind wishes and support I've received. It truly means a lot. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts," wrote Shreyas Iyer in his Instagram post.
