CBSE Board Result 2025 Live: CBSE Class 10th, 12th Results to Be Announced Soon

After the results are announced, CBSE will publish detailed statistics on its official websites, including overall pass rates, regional performance, and data based on gender.

The CBSE Class 10 result for 2025 is likely to have a pass percentage of over 93%, as the question papers were moderately difficult. Similarly, the Class 12 pass rate is expected to remain between 87% and 88%.

Schools can download DigiLocker access codes for each student by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Visit digitallocker.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on ‘Login as School’ and enter your CBSE LOC credentials.
Step 3: From the available options, select ‘Download PIN File’.
Step 4: Choose the appropriate class – either Class 10 or Class 12.
Step 5: Share each student’s PIN code securely and keep the information confidential.

• Open the UMANG app and log in.  
• Navigate to the “All Services” section.  
• Select CBSE, then choose either Class 10 or Class 12.  
• Enter your roll number and other required details.  
• View and download your result instantly. 

CBSE Class 10 pass percentages have remained consistently above 90% in recent years — 93.60% in 2024, 93.12% in 2023, 94.40% in 2022, and a record high of 99.04% in 2021.

CBSE has provided a 6-digit security PIN to access digital marksheets on DigiLocker. This unique code will be given to students by their schools. Make sure to obtain it from your school.

Students who fail in one or two subjects in the CBSE Class 10 or 12 exams will have the chance to appear for the compartment exam, which is likely to be held in July or August.

To access their results, students will need to enter specific details on the result portal, including their roll number, school number, admit card ID, date of birth, and the security code shown on the screen. 

• Go to the official CBSE website – cbse.gov.in 
• Locate and click on the CBSE Reverification link on the homepage. 
• Enter the necessary details such as Roll Number, Name, Subject for Reverification, and Subject Code. 
• Pay the required re-verification fee. 
• Click the submit button to complete the application. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the date and time for the Class 10 and Class 12 results very soon. Students are advised to stay updated through official sources.

In 2025, a total of 24.12 lakh students appeared for the CBSE Class 10 exams. The exams were held across 7,780 centres nationwide, reflecting the wide reach of the CBSE examination system.

After the results are declared, make sure to check your name, marks for each subject, total score, grade, and pass status. If you find any errors, inform your school straight away for correction.

CBSE conducted its Class 10 and 12 exams between February 15 and April 4. Based on usual timelines, students can expect results around mid-May.

Although the official date and time have not been confirmed yet, the results are likely to be declared soon, based on previous years’ patterns. Once released, students can check their results on the official websites at cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in.

To pass, Class 10 students must score at least 33% overall, while Class 12 students need 33% in both theory and practical components separately. Grace marks may be given at the board’s discretion in borderline cases.

• The overall pass percentage in 2024 was 87.98%.
• In 2023, students from the Arts, Science, and Commerce streams together recorded a pass percentage of 87.33%.
• The pass rate was higher in 2022 at 92.71% and reached its highest in 2021 at 99.37%.
• In 2020, the success rate was 88.78%, while in 2019, it stood at 83.4%.
