'Bye-Bye, Just Got Married!': Twisha Sharma's Wedding Video Goes Viral After Mysterious Death

Bhopal: Former Miss Pune Twisha Sharma's wedding trailer video, filled with warmth, excitement and fun banter, has gone viral days after she was found dead at her husband's home under suspicious circumstances. The video showed her dancing, enjoying and getting emotional as she ventured into a new chapter of her life. 

The seemingly perfect wedding video gave no hint that the 33-year-old woman, who was so excited about her marriage, would soon meet a tragic end.

‘Panditji Time Paas Kar Rahe Hai’: Wedding Banter

The wedding trailer showed Twisha joking with her family.

Wearing a red lehenga on her big day, Twisha was also heard joking with the panditji, asking him to leave Samarth: “Pandit ji, chor do usko…Yaar ye pandit ji kya time paas kar rahe hai. Pura footage pandit ji khaane waale hai kya? Pandit ji usko shaadi mere se karni hai, aapse nahi (Pandit ji leave him, he has to maary me, not you.)”

‘I’ll Miss My Parents': Twisha

In the video, Twisha was seen dancing and posing with the guests for pictures. She appeared to be carefree and in bliss. As she got tired while dancing, she was heard saying, “Matlab shaadi meri hai, mereko thodi energy bhi bachani hai (It's my wedding, let me save some energy).”

She was also asked what is it that she would miss the most after her wedding.

To this she replied, "Of course, my parents." As she got a bit emotional, she controlled her tears and joked on a lighter note, “My room!”

‘She’s Soft-Hearted': Guests Wish Her On Her Big Day

The wedding video also featured the wedding guests wishing her for her big day. One of the guests was heard saying, “She is like a coconut. Upar se hard hai, andar se she is very very soft hai. Wish you all the best, Twisha didi.”

'Maaf Kar Dijiyae': Emotional Farewell

Towards the end of the wedding trailer, Twisha was seen delivering an emotional speech to her family as she bid them goodbye, telling them, “Mujhe baccha samajh kar maaf kar dijiyae sablog (Please forgive me).”

Tears welled up in her eyes as her father hugged her.

The frame then shifted to Twisha sitting in a car with her husband Samarth Singh during vidai. She was happily seen waving at her paternal family from the car, saying, “Bye-Bye.” In a singsong voice, she said, “Just got married!”

Tragedy Strikes 5 Months After Wedding

Just five months after the seemingly perfect wedding, Twisha Sharma was found hanging from the rooftop of her matrimonial house in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Earlier suspected to be a case of suicide, Twisha's death mystery deepened as her family alleged that she was murdered. Suspicious heightened over the nature and the cause of her death since her husband went missing after her death.

Twisha's family also pointed to multiple injury marks on her body, alleging that she was murdered, and did not commit suicide. It is also alleged that Twisha terminated her pregnancy after her husband questioned her whose child she was carrying, accusing her of having extra-marital affair.

Further, Samarth's mother Giri Bala Singh, who is a former judge, dialled several influential people shortly after Twisha's death, giving rise to allegations of “judicial cover-up”.

Husband Taken Under Police Custody

Twisha's husband Samarth Singh, who is a Bhopal-based lawyer, has been sent to police custody for seven days in the case of his wife's death. Police have reportedly also claimed that he is not cooperating with the investigation.

Notably, he had been absconding for 10 days after Twisha's death.

In view of the grave allegations levelled against him, the Bar Council Of India (BCI) has suspended his license with immediate effect. During the period of suspension, Samarth cannot appear, act, plead, practice, file vakalatnama, or hold himself out as entitled to practise before any Court, Tribunal, Authority or forum in India.
