India vs New Zealand: Team India have one last to chance fine-tune their white ball skills and games in their last group stage game against Mitchell Santner's New Zealand. India and New Zealand both have qualified for the Champions Trophy semi-finals. The last time both India and New Zealand played an ODI was in 2023, during the cricket World Cup. India had defeated New Zealand by 70 runs in the semi-finals and had knocked them out of the ODI World Cup.
India and New Zealand, both have been undefeated in the tournament so far. Both the teams have beaten Bangladesh and Pakistan and have sealed their place in the knockouts. The 'men in blue' and the 'Blackcaps' will look at this match as a dress rehearsal for the upcoming semi-finals. The match is almost as good as a dead rubber because its outcomes will have no severe implications on either teams. Much ahead of the IND vs NZ Champions Trophy game, the Indian cricket team trained hard to prepare well for the contest.
Indian Bowlers Bat Under Virat Kohli's Watchful Eyes
India's squad for the Champions Trophy has some great balance and depth. The Indian team bats till eight and this gives them an edge over their opposition. But it is the batting quality of the tailenders that lands India in troubles sometimes. Ahead of the India vs New Zealand Champions Trophy game, the bowlers of the Indian team tried to swing the willow in training.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted a video of Varun Chakravarthy, Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh batting in the nets with Virat Kohli watching from the other end. Kohli also gave some batting tips to Harshit and spoke to him about his technique.

India vs New Zealand To Be Played For The First Time In Dubai
India and New Zealand are locking horns for the first time in Dubai. Both the teams have played against each other in the UAE in the past, but they have never locked horns with each other in Dubai. India and New Zealand have played 118 ODIs against each other with India winning 60 and New Zealand winning 50.
