India vs Pakistan: The stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is all set to witness another chapter in the mother of all rivalries, the IND vs PAK game. There is an air of excitement as all the emotions come to life when India and Pakistan lock horns with each other on the cricket field. For the past decade, India have had an upper hand over Pakistan in most of their ICC event games. Pakistan, a team that has a habit of self-destruction, is on the verge of being knocked out from the ongoing edition of the Champions Trophy.

Both India and Pakistan have experienced contrasting outcomes in the ongoing Champions Trophy, which is being hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board. India defeated Bangladesh by 6 wickets in their campaign opener. Pakistan, on the other hand, succumbed to a shocking 60-run loss against Mitchell Santner's New Zealand in the opening game of the tournament.

The India vs Pakistan game will be played in the Dubai International Stadium on February 23, 2025. India have an opportunity to qualify for the Champions Trophy semi-final straightaway. Pakistan, on the other hand, will be more worried to save their campaign, as a loss against India will potentially see them out of the tournament.

India vs Pakistan: Head-To-Head Record In Champions Trophy

Rohit Sharma's Team India will be oozing confidence from the word go after their clinical performance against their neighbours Bangladesh. Pakistan, on the other side, do have plenty of questions to answer. Babar Azam's form has been a big concern for the hosts. The former Pakistan skipper's slow knock against New Zealand has earned him a lot of flak.

As far as India's record against Pakistan in Champions Trophy is concerned, the 'Men in Green' still have a marginal lead over the 'Men in Blue', the 2017 final being their last Champions Trophy encounter. Out of the five India vs Pakistan Champions Trophy matches, India have won two matches, whereas Pakistan have won two as well. When India take the field against Pakistan on February 23, in Dubai, they'll want to nullify the lead that Rizwan and his men have.

The scars of the 2017 Champions Trophy loss will also be fresh in the minds of the Indian team, and they'll look to put their best foot forward to register a heroic performance against their arch-rivals.

Champions Trophy 2025: Team India's Dubai Dominance

Team India has always relished the conditions on offer in Dubai and has performed exceptionally well. The recently concluded India vs Bangladesh Champions Trophy 2025 match was a prime example of how familiar the Indian team is with the Dubai International Stadium. So far, India have played seven ODI matches in the Dubai International Stadium and have ended up winning six of them.

The only game that India did not win was an ODI against Afghanistan in 2018, which ended in a tie. Coincidentally, it was also MS Dhoni's 200th and final game as the captain of the Indian team.
