INJURY OR REST? Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah Were Missing From Perth Nets Ahead of BGT, Here's WHY

Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah were missing from India's first practice session at Perth and that has raised concerns ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. We are less than 10 days away from the first Test, so why did the two Indian stalwarts miss the session? According to a report in The West Australian, this happened because they opted to rest after India cancelled the compulsory training session. The net session on Tuesday was an optional one. Team India is supposed to have a full-fledged training session on Wednesday and Thursday at the iconic WACA. Team India is maintaining high secrecy over their training sessions. The practice ground was covered in black traps, and cricket staff at the venue were not allowed to use their mobile phones outside the offices or filming inside the ground.

Rohit to Miss 1st Test? 

Captain Rohit Sharma , on the other hand, has not reached yet as he is likely to miss the first Test match due to personal reasons.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team has started their practice at the WACA Ground to prepare for the blockbuster BGT 2024 opener.

When is the Perth Test? 

The much-awaited Perth Test starts on Novemeber 22 and is expected to be a mouthwatering contest between the two cricketing powerhouses.
