Ravindra Jadeja reflected on his performance after the match. He said, “That is how it is with me; sometimes a hero, sometimes a zero. The wicket was not easy for a new batter. Hardik and KL were great. Winning the CT is a huge thing. If you don't win a big tournament after playing so long, it hurts.”

But this historic win has cemented Rohit Sharma's legacy in cricket history forever.

Batting first, New Zealand posted 251 runs on the board riding on Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell's half centuries. India made a fantastic start courtesy of Riohit Sharma's quickfire innings. But the Blackcaps kept themselves in the hunt by taking wickets at regular intervals.

But in the end, the quality of Indian players proved to be a major difference as the Men In Blue registered their first win over The Kiwis in an ICC final game.
