MS Dhoni has found himself in the midst of a controversy after the former Indian cricketer did not make any comments over Team India's recent win at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Rohit Sharma-led side pulled off a clinical win over New Zealand to bring the title back home. But Dhoni, who won the title as a skipper for India in 2013, did not make any comment about the Men In Blue's win and did not respond to the reporters' questions. The unusual moment has stirred a huge debate over social media.

The Rohit Sharma-led Team India secured a grand-fashioned win over New Zealand to continue their spotless run in the ICC tournaments. After the Men's T20 World Cup Triumph, this is India's second consecutive ICC title win, with Rohit becoming one of the most successful skippers as of late. India added another title to its iconic trophy cabinet this year.
Former Team India skipper MS Dhoni has been a part of Rishabh Pant's sister's wedding gala in Mussoorie, and he arrived with his wife Sakshi Dhoni to be a part of the festivities. MSD arrived at the Delhi airport first and then headed to the destination of the wedding. In a video which has gone viral over social media, the reporters approached the three-time ICC title-winning skipper and sought his thoughts on India's win as he exited the airport. However, he refused to speak out and simply walked away. Dhoni wore an all-black ensemble and also had a mask on.
Will 2025 Be The Last Of MS Dhoni In Action?
MS Dhoni isn't a part of international cricket after announcing his retirement but has been an active member in the biggest franchise cricket league, the IPL . Dhoni will be back for another run in 2025, and he will be a part of the Chennai Super Kings after they retained him as an uncapped player for INR 4 Crore.
However, the IPL 2025 season could be the last of MS Dhoni in IPL action as the former CSK skipper has hinted about it in cryptic fashion. It is yet to be seen whether Dhoni calls time on his IPL career or not.
