ICC Champions Trophy 2025: Rohit Sharma led his Indian side well and that resulted in India clinching another ICC title. On March 9, 2025, Rohit, who has been criticised for not living upto his potential recently, hit a marvellous 76 off 83 balls to power his side to the coveted silverware. But what happened at the post-match press conference stole the show.

Rohit, who has an uncanny habit of forgetting, did not realise that he had left the silverware after he finished speaking to the media. He was leaving without the trophy. Eventually, a staff present there picked it up and gave it to the India captain. Rohit also ed pictures with journalists present at the presser. Here is the clip of Rohit forgetting that is now going viral.

Rohit Sharma Credits The Dubai Crowd For All The Support

"The crowd here has been magnificent, it is not our home ground but they made it our home ground. The number of people that came here to watch us play and to get that result in the end was very very satisfying. Not just this game but right from the beginning, our spinners in particular, there's too much expectations when you are playing on a pitch like that, but they never disappointed," Rohit said at the post-match presentation.

‘Koi future plan ni hai’

Meanwhile, Rohit quashed all rumours around his retirement after India clinched the title. 'Koi future plan ni hai. Jo chal ra hai wo chalega (There’s no future plan, things will keep on going as they are). I'm not going to retire from this format. Just to make sure that no rumours are spread moving forward', Rohit said at the post-match presser.
