About the Queen's Park Oval
Queen's Park Oval, the biggest cricket ground in the Caribbean, has hosted Test matches since 1930, when the West Indies first participated in the format. Since Trinidad is home to many ardent cricket fans, Queen's Park Oval test matches have usually drawn sizable crowds. It was one of the numerous Caribbean locations to host the 2007 ICC World Cup, and it will now play host to several T20 World Cup 2024 matches.

Pitch Conditions
The Queen's Park Oval surface offers possibilities for both hitters and bowlers, creating a fair and balanced playing field. The pitch gradually slows down as the game goes on, which tends to favour batters even though bowlers may have some edge in the early going, especially in the first half of the match.
Venue Facilities
The stadium was constructed with the most luxurious amenities before the 2007 Cricket World Cup matches to improve spectator experiences. In addition to the main field, there are squash courts, two outdoor tennis courts, a gym and indoor and outdoor cricket practice nets. In honour of the late West Indies cricketer Learie Nicholas Constantine, the stadium's Concrete Stand was renamed the Learie Constantine Stand.
